Order Fullfilment Manager

Routine activities:

  • Responsive to incoming customer and vendor communications (calls, voicemail, e-mail, snail-mail, etc.,.).
  • Office computer work and physical movement of parts and boxes.
  • Order parts & material from vendors, based on inventory reports, to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Receive, label, re-stock, update inventory systems.
  • Ship customer orders using inventory reports, and UPS & freight shipping practices & systems.
  • Customer Invoice generation.
  • Run A/R reports and follow-up on overdue unpaid invoices, to insure prompt receipt of payment.
  • Place and monitor vendor purchase orders to insure inventory & materials are received on schedule.
  • Follow-up with "estimate customers", to offer information or assistance turning estimates into orders.

Experience and skills:

  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping, inventory best practices, and related industry software.
  • Professional, effective communicator (e-mail, phone and face-to-face with customers and vendors).
  • Competent internet and e-mail user. Experienced with safe searching and buying on the internet.
  • Own and adhere to processes by executing work according to existing processes, and collaborate as needed to add, improve, or obsolete them.
  • MSWindows and common applications.
  • Pay & benefits are negotiable, based on skills and value add.

Electric Automotive Technician

Routine Activities:

  • Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints, conducting inspections, repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, and replacing related parts and components.
  • Complies with state and national vehicle safety requirements.
  • Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing and detailing as required.
  • Keeps shop organized and equipment operating by following operating instructions, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and calling for repairs.
  • Reduces costs by using warranty, evaluating service and parts options, and prioritization of work.
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, verifying receipt.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, etc.

Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with custom and aftermarket modifications.

Mechanical Designer/Fabricator

Routine Activities:

Measures, designs and fabricates (or subcontract fabrication of) enclosures, ductwork, linkage, etc. Each project brings new challenges that are consistent with aftermarket automotive work. But this work is on unusually beautiful vehicles that are considered jewelry by their owners. Meticulous care and respect of customer vehicles appearance and function is critical. 

Demonstrated proficiency in the areas of:

  • Design of parts and assemblies with industry standard 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Interfacing with machine & welding shops.
  • Selection of proper materials, bearings, fasteners, etc. as applicable to the functional problem being solved.
  • Machining equipment and processes.
  • Productive use of billable time and material cost, to keep customer expense to a minimum.
  • Professional and collaborative communication with peers, vendors and at times the customer.
  • Email & MS Office applications to document and collaborate.
  • Keeping shop organized and equipment operating by following operating instructions, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and arranging repairs.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, etc.

Experience and Skills:

  • Good understanding of automobile reliability issues and solutions. Examples are vibration, environmental, electrical, fasteners, etc.
  • Good understanding of applicable metrology.
  • Mechanical Drafting Standards, as some designs will require replication, and/or advanced definition prior to expense approval.
  • Industry common 2D & 3D CAD software, and how to utilize neutral file formats to get specifications to and from collaborators effectively.
  • Lifting, energy level, dependable, persistence, time management, attendance, independence, safety Management, Problem Solving, Dealing with Complexity, and Analyzing Information.

Marketing Specialist

Routine Activities:

  • Responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services.
  • Develops sales plans, presentations, and provides reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing.

Experience and Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, and 2-4 years of experience in the field or related area.
  • Must be familiar with current concepts, practices, and procedures applicable to an e-tail business.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
